Tervu is a peninsula in southern Karelia .

The Tervu Peninsula is located on the west coast of Lake Ladoga and shares the Tervu Bay (in the south) with Helmelyanselskya Bay (in the north). There are many small streams and lakes on the peninsula (the largest Surilampi and Kotilampi).
The relief of the peninsula is mostly hilly. The highest point is 86.3 m (Mount Surimyaki). The shore is steep, steep, rocky. In the sea near the peninsula there are many pitfalls and surface stones. The peninsula is overgrown with forest and shrubs.
Near the peninsula, the depths of the lake are up to 23 m. On the east coast, the island of Mukrimyuksensari is a geological extension of the peninsula, from which it is separated by a narrow channel. The southern extension of the peninsula is the island of Lauvatsari . From the north, the peninsula passes into the Kalksalo peninsula.
On the peninsula is the village of Tervu . Geographically refers to the Lahdenpoh district of Karelia .
