Biography
Born January 11, 1960 in Moscow . In 1982 he graduated from the Faculty of History of Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov , in 1985 - graduate school in the same place; student I. P. Dementieva . He defended his PhD thesis in 1986 on the theme “The Problem of and Party Political Struggles on the Question (late 60s - early 80s of the XIX century)” official opponents - V.V. Sogrin and G.L. Kertman. He worked at the Faculty of History of Moscow State University, then at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
In 1992, he graduated from the magistracy at Columbia University in New York with a degree in international relations .
Since 1992, he worked in the media: in Kommersant , in the Segodnya newspaper, he was the chief editor of the Izvestia newspaper.
From October 2004 to June 2007, he worked as the editor-in-chief of the Rodionov Publishing House group of business magazines and as the editor-in-chief of the group’s main weekly journal, Profil . In the future, he conducted broadcasts on the radio " City-FM "

Political activities
In 2008-2011, he served as co-chairman of the Right Cause Party .
