Story
A young swimmer Ilmar is sailing on the ship Equator in a summer camp located somewhere on the shore of the Black Sea . By chance, he witnesses a strange event: one of the passengers, a foreigner (he's a magician and a “merchant”), Mr. Pipp, secretly throws a suspicious object (a beacon) into the sea. Pipp discovers the boy and, fearing exposure, pushes him overboard, and no one notices this on the ship.
Some time later, the leader of the pioneer detachment discovers Ilmar, on the shores of the stormy sea, who does not remember how he ended up in the water. Everything looks as if he fell into the water from the pier. Soon Ilmar and his new friends in the pioneer camp will again meet with a mysterious foreigner ...
