Ansbacher Strasse stretches from south to north between Marbacher Strasse ( German Marbacher Straße ) and Wimpfener Strasse ( German Wimpfener Straße ). In the same direction the numbering of houses goes: on the right side, the odd numbers from No. 1 to No. 49 and on the left side are even numbers from No. 2 to No. 40. This is an exclusively residential street, there is not a single industrial enterprise or commercial establishment . One-way traffic from Marbacher Strasse. The length is 165 meters.

History

The street was built up in 1936-1937, allegedly by migrants from the southern lands of Germany - Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg . Named December 1, 1937 in honor of the city of Ansbach , located in Middle Franconia (Bavaria). Since 1363 this city was the capital of the Hohenzollern principality, and in 1791-1806 it was part of Prussia . Currently, the center of the administrative district of Middle Franconia ...

Since the forties, Ansbacher Strasse has not been rebuilt. In 1988, the street celebrated its 50th anniversary. [one]

Architecture

There are no buildings of architectural value and legally protected on the street. All buildings are examples of residential architecture from the first half of the 20th century , gradually restored over time. As a rule, these are six-door residential buildings with a double-slope tiled roof. At each entrance one family of an average level of prosperity lives. In essence, this is a separate house under a common roof, in which the family occupies two and a half floors (together with the attic floor). It is worth noting the flower beds , broken in front gardens , occupying almost half the entire width of the street. All buildings are perfectly maintained.

Roadway

On both sides of the street there are signs "stop and parking is prohibited." This is for non-residents. Driving speed is limited to 30 km / h. The warning “children!” Is written on asphalt.

On the border with the sidewalk, the hatches of the drainage system are installed. In pairs, only 12 pieces. Safe for cyclists.

On the right side of the street there are pillars of gas lighting. Only 6 pieces. And one pole of ordinary electric lighting at the very end of the street.

The sidewalks are narrow, designed for one pedestrian (1 meter wide).
