Separate examples are compositions showing the influence of rap on country music. For example, Toby Keith ’s single of 2001 called “I Wanna Talk About Me”, which shows verses narrated under a beat . In 2017, the experimental album of the American rapper Young Thug " Beautiful Thugger Girls " was released with the title track Family Don't Matter. The album consists of 14 songs and perfectly combines country and trap.
In 2019, the young artist Lil Nas X releases the song " Old Town Road ", which is becoming popular thanks to social networks. Subsequently, country legend Billy Ray Cyrus writes his remix to her. She is number one on the Billboard Hot 100 . On May 17, a video for the song is released, which has already collected more than 70 million views.
