The film is based on the works of O. Henry and consists of three short stories: “Greetings from the namesake”, “Treatment by Dr. Lokhovsky,” “Vote“ For “”. The action takes place in the 1990s in Minsk .
Content
Story
The main character of the film is Vasily Lokhovsky, recently released from prison after serving a third term for car thefts.
In the first short story, an adventurous crook named Handsome suggests Lokhovsky to work together. He tries to deceive Vasily by not giving him his share for the stolen car, but he himself turns out to be deceived.
Then Lokhovsky makes money by curing alcoholics by his unique method. In the third short story, he is nominated as a candidate for deputy.
Throughout the film, the protagonist proves that the nickname “Sucker” given to him in the zone is not about him.
