The Russian Speed Skating Championship in Classical All-Around 1896 is the eighth Russian championship, which was held in February 1896 in Moscow at the skating rink of the Nizhne-Presnensky Pond . Only men took part in the championship. The title of champion of Russia is not awarded.

Since 1895, the champion was determined by the results of his performance at two distances of 1,500 and 5,000 meters. The races were carried out in pairs. To win the title of champion of Russia it was necessary to win at both distances.
