Biography
Born October 22, 1971 in Ivano-Frankivsk . He graduated from the Kiev National University of Theater, Film and Television named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary .
He served as an actor in the Ivano-Frankivsk Ukrainian Drama Theater , Kiev Youth Theater and the Kiev Academic Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank of the Dnieper .
Twice laureate of the professional theater award “Kiev Pectoral”: in 1998 - in the nomination “Best Actor in a Supporting Role” for the role of Senor Meis in the play “A Little Wine ... or 70 Revolutions” based on short stories by L. Pirandello, in 2007 - in the nomination “ Best Actor in a Supporting Role ”for the role of Yegor Voynitsky in the play“ 26 Rooms ... ”based on the play“ Leshy ”by A. Chekhov.
Actively acted in films.
He died at six in the morning on July 16, 2014 in Kiev . Director of the “Theater on the Left Bank” Alexander Gannochenko said that the actor fell and broke his head, the same version was confirmed by journalist Maxim Ravreba: “Two days ago he was last seen at Kurenyovka . Then his wife was called for identification. Vitaly was found dead in an underpass on Teligi Street , near the Kirillov Church . Either killed, or fell from great heights onto concrete steps. But it was an unnatural death ” [3] [4] . A criminal case was opened on the fact of the actor’s death, but no traces of violent death were found on his body: “A witness, a saleswoman of a 24-hour stall, saw a man crouch on a parapet enclosing a staircase to an underground passage at six in the morning on July 16 and accidentally fell down taking a ride on the steps. The fact that the man was alone at that time was also recorded by a video camera installed nearby ” [5] .
Farewell to V. B. Linetsky on July 21 at the Theater on the left bank. The actor is buried in the Berkovets cemetery .
