Top Level Domain Map
The syntax of the domain names that the NIC Chile can register (for example, Wikipedia.cl) is described in the Regulation, which was adopted in August 2005 .
The cost of registering domains for individuals and companies was free until 1997. Currently, the cost is 20170 Chilean pesos (including VAT ).
Along with German , Austrian , Polish and Brazilian, it is possible to register domain names with non- ASCII characters in the Chilean top-level domain (originally á , é , í , ó , ú ; since September 22, 2005 also ü , Ñ ).
