Biography
Before the war he lived in Tashkent , worked as an auditor in the People's Commissariat of Finance of the Uzbek SSR . He served in the Red Army . Taking advantage of the position of the editorial staff of the Idel-Ural newspaper, Zalilov traveled around the units of the "Tatar Legion" of the German army and conducted anti-fascist propaganda among the legionnaires. In August 1943 he was arrested by the Germans. In the Zalilov case, the Germans came to Shabaev. Guillotined at the Plotzensee military prison in Berlin for anti-fascist activities. [2] Together with him were executed: Gaynan Kurmashev , Fuat Sayfulmulukov, Fuat Bulatov, Akhmet Simaev , Abdullah Battalov , Zinnat Hasanov , Akhat Atnashev, Salim Bukharov , as well as Tatar writers Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil and Abdullah Alish . By the decree of the President of the USSR M.S. Gorbachev “for active patriotic activity in the underground anti-fascist group and the persistence and courage shown”, those executed were posthumously awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree.
