Yuri (George) Yaroslavich (before 1112 - c. 1168 ) - Prince Pinsky c. 1142–1148, 1154–1157, Turovsky 1148 / 1149–1150, 1151–1154, 1157–1168, the son of Yaroslav Svyatopolkovich , the eldest son of Svyatopolk Izyaslavich .

Biography

In 1157, after the death of Yuri Dolgoruky Turov , in which his son Boris had been sitting before, was occupied by Yuri Yaroslavich. The new Kiev prince Izyaslav Davydovich in 1157 tried to drive Yuri out of Turov, but to no avail, and was forced to retreat. In 1160, Izyaslav Davydovich in alliance with Mstislav Izyaslavich again besieged Turov and again could not take it. In 1161, Yuri made peace with the Kiev prince Rostislav Mstislavich .

The last time Yuri Yaroslavich was mentioned in the annals in 1167. He was the founder of the dynasty of Turo-Pinsk princes .
