Kubyshka ( Latin: Núphar ) is a genus of perennial aquatic plants of the Nymphaeaceae family, distributed in shallow water along the shores of lakes and slow-flowing rivers or streams.

Often a small egg is mistakenly called a water lily ; while a white water lily is called a water lily .
Content
Botanical Description
Rhizome plants. The color of the rhizome, depending on the illumination, from yellowish to green. The rhizome cut is white.
The leaves are rounded, floating - hard leathery, underwater - tender [2] .
The flowers are yellow, have a pleasant smell. The stamens are numerous, five sepals .
The fruit is a multi-seeded box of green.
Classification
Some researchers believe that the genus is monotypic and consists of one polymorphic species Nuphar lutea ( yellow capsule ) [3] [4] , while 10-12 or more species are accepted by some other researchers [5] . Recent molecular studies show differences between European and American species.
The genus consists of 8 species in 2 sections of Astylus and Nuphar [6] .

Meaning and Application
Egg capsules are the food of many animals ( muskrat , beaver , muskrat , elk , etc.), seeds are eaten by waterfowl . [9]
