Description
Lisno is one of the shallow lakes. The basin of the diving type is stretched from north to south for 7.8 km. The coastline has simple and smooth outlines. In the west and south, the slopes of the above-water part are high (up to 15–20 m), steep, often steep, the southwestern ones reach a height of 30 m and steeply drop to the water 's edge . The northern and eastern slopes are not pronounced - they represent a marshy floodplain , covered with a rare pine forest [4] [5] .
There are several islands on the lake. The largest island, located in the southern part of the lake, is Lisinyansky Island, which separates the intensively growing bay from the main mirror.
The river Svolna (the Western Dvina basin ) flows through the lake, the Staraya River flows into it [1] . It connects with the lake Osveisky through the Degtyaryovka channel , which flows through Lake Pripishchi [1] (Russia).
Plant World
The small depths of the lake and the wide littoral contribute to the intensive overgrowing of the lake. The band of vegetation almost everywhere reaches 100–200 m. Continuous overgrowth is noted in the bay near the eastern shore, which is almost completely separated from the lake by the island of Lisinyansky. The depth of distribution of underwater macrophytes reaches 2 m, and only occasionally up to 2.6 m.
Animal World
The ichthyofauna of the lake is bark-pike-lined. In addition, perch , roach , pike perch , catfish , eel , crucian carp are found in the lake. Conducted periodic industrial fishing.
Ecology
The shores of the lake are sparsely populated. There are no industrial enterprises within the water intake, and a wide strip of forest around detains agricultural pollution. All this causes high quality water and attracts tourists.
Since 1995, the lake and the surrounding forests became part of the landscape reserve of republican significance "Krasny Bor" ( Belor. "Chyrvony Bor" ).
