Hurriganes is a Finnish rock band formed in 1971. Were very popular in Finland in the 1970s and early 1980s. There is a lot of nostalgic rock and roll music in their music. At the time of their “classical” period, the band’s repertoire consisted largely of accelerated and weighted cover versions of the famous 1950s rock and roll songs in addition to their own original material. In this sense, Hurriganes can be considered as Finland’s response to the British pub rock of those years.
