The flag was approved on April 26, 2007 [1] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 3544.
Description
βA green cloth with an aspect ratio of 2: 3, bearing at the upper edge a blue stripe 1/6 of the width of the cloth and close to it a narrow white stripe 1/12 the width of the cloth; along the ascending diagonal, the main part of the panel is cut by a white tapering strip, at the free edge coming to naught. In the middle, over the borders of the stripes, is a yellow image with red details of a lion armed with a saber and carrying ears of corn. β
Justification of Symbols
The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, cultural and economic features of the rural settlement.
The blue color of the banner symbolizes impeccability, virtue, will, clear sky, and it is also the color of linear Cossacks, in the army of which the Sass were originally listed.

The white oblique strip extending downward allegorically indicates the Laba River , the main river of the settlement.
The procession lion allegorically points to the combat general Zass , in whose honor the village and settlement were named. In the right front paw of a lion is a golden Cossack saber, symbolizing the military merits of the Zassovites at all times. The sheaf of their four wheat ears in the left forepaw symbolizes the main occupation - the cultivation of bread, four ears of ears allegorically point to four settlements in the settlement. The image of a lion also symbolizes greatness, courage, courage, strength.
Yellow color symbolizes greatness, nobility, glory, wealth and prosperity, prosperity, strength.
