Biography
Evgeny Georgievich was born in 1917 in the village of Kamenskaya (currently the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Region ) in a working class family.
After receiving an incomplete secondary education, he worked as an electrician for the tram department of the city of Shakhty [1] , studied flight business in the city flying club with an instructor Gorovets. Then he got into the school of the civil air fleet, after which he began to fly passenger aircraft on the Moscow - Ashgabat line [2] .
In the Red Army since 1937 . In 1938 he graduated from the Voroshilovgrad Military Aviation Pilot School. Member of World War II from the first day. He fought as a navigator on an IL-4 aircraft in the 752nd Long-Range Bomber Aviation Regiment (DBA).
Captain Andreyenko finished the war of the guard in the 20th Guards Bomber Sevastopol Order of the Suvorov Aviation Regiment (13th Guards Bomber Aviation Division, 2nd Guards Bomber Aviation Corps, 18th Air Army).
On the account of Evgeny Georgievich 370 sorties and about 500 tons of bombs dropped on enemy positions. 59 times during the day and 311 at night - he flew out to bombard enemy targets in the near and far rear of the enemy.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, for the exemplary performance of command missions on the front against the Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism shown at the same time, guards senior lieutenant Yevgeny Georgievich Andreyenko was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the medal " The Golden Star ”(No. 9066).
Andreenko continued to serve in the Air Force until 1946, the captain went into the reserve with the rank of guard, and lived until the end of his life in the city of Shakhty .
He died in the Mines on September 14, 1982 .
