The flag was approved on May 15, 2007 [1] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 4605.
Description
“A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, consisting of three equal vertical stripes: blue (at the shaft), yellow (in the center) and blue; in the center of the yellow stripe are three blue stars about eight rays in a row one above the other; in the center of each blue strip is a yellow Cossack scabbard located vertically with the handle up and the blade to the edge of the cloth. The overall size of each star is 1/6 of the width of the banner, the height of each checker is 5/6 of the width of the banner. ” [2]
Justification of Symbols
The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, cultural and economic features of the rural settlement.
According to legend, the village got its name in honor of the icon of the grieving Virgin Mary , which was found during the laying of the church. The clergy interpreted the appearance of the icon of the "grieving" Virgin as follows - where there is such an icon, there people will live without any sorrow. From what the village was called Immaculate .
Three blue eight-pointed stars are a symbol of the Virgin. The blue color ( azure ) is the color of the Virgin, this color also symbolizes impeccability, virtue, will, the Urup river, on the banks of which the settlement is located and is the defining color of the linear Cossacks, which were originally unkind.
The yellow Cossack checkers in scabbard allegorically speak of military prowess, the glorious Cossack past, and the first founders of the village - linear Cossacks.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of agriculture, greatness, prosperity and bread, prosperity, strength and sunlight.
