Melnikov, Fedor Nikolaevich

Fedor Nikolaevich Melnikov ( 1885 , the village of Rybaki, Moscow Region - 1938 ) - a professional revolutionary , Soviet party leader.

Biography

Of the workers. Member of the RSDLP since 1904 . During the December armed uprising in Moscow, he participated in battles on Presnya. Since 1907 - a member of the Rogozhsky District Council. Then he was in exile in Siberia . After the February Revolution - member of the Executive Committee of the Rogozh District Council. Since August 1917, a member of the combat five to create the Red Guard of the area. Then he was elected the vowel of the regional Duma. In October days, he led the detachment of the Red Guards of the tea packing factory "Caravan" , participated in the battles in Lefortovo . After the victory of the October Revolution, he was in party and economic work.

Memory

In 1967, the 4th Dubrovsky Lane in Moscow was renamed Melnikova Street .
