The flag was approved on February 15, 2007 [1] and on April 10, 2007 it was entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 3180 [2] .

Description

β€œA rectangular raspberry cloth with a height to length ratio of 2: 3, bearing in the center an image of the coat of arms of the Ust-Labinsky district, in which the lower field between the arms of the fork-shaped cross resting against the lower corners of the canvas is filled with green, and in the center of the canvas is yellow above all a fortification in the form of a single-tier tower with three visible battlements, with a through arch of the gate and loopholes in each of the battlements. ”

Justification of Symbols

The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the natural, historical and economic features of the region and is based on the coat of arms of the Ust-Labinsky district of the Krasnodar Territory.

The image of the tower on the flag symbolizes the fortress founded by A.V. Suvorov , around which the district center - the city of Ust-Labinsk subsequently grew. The open gate of the fortress speaks of the hospitality and hospitality of modern residents of the area. The raspberry field reinforces the symbolism of the fortress, emphasizing that the history of the development of these lands owes much to the Cossacks, who guarded the local borders and were one of the first inhabitants.

The heraldic figure - a fork-shaped cross allegorically shows the confluence of the Kuban and Laba rivers, located on the territory of the district.

Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of wealth, stability, respect, intelligence.

White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, peace and mutual understanding.

Green color symbolizes nature, health, vitality, and also reflects the rich agricultural land of the area.

Raspberry color ( purple ) - a symbol of nobility, honor, dignity, fame.
