Located in the western part of the region, 13 km north-west of Krasny , 3.5 km south of the M1 Belarus road, on the bank of the Dnieper River . In 3 km to the northeast of the village there is a railway station Gusino on the line Moscow - Minsk .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
