It is located in the northeastern part of the region, 28 km northwest of Gagarin , 27 km east of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov . 25 km west of the village is the Vazuza railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
