Origin of title
Zachatievsky lanes (on the plans of Moscow of the XVII century, only one Zacreysky lane is marked) owe their name to the Zachatievsky monastery , founded in 1584 by Tsar Fyodor Ivanovich in the hope of getting rid of the infertility of his wife. Near the monastery there was the Zachatievsky monastic settlement, on the territory of which the lanes were formed. On the plans of the XIX century was also designated as the Small Zachatievsky and Nameless lane.
Description
2nd Zachatievsky lane moves at an acute angle to the south from 1st Zachatievsky near Ostozhenka , comes to the main entrance of Zachatievsky monastery, 3rd Zachatievsky adjoins it to the left, then turns to the east and again south along the walls of the monastery, goes to Dairy lane where it ends.
