The flag was approved on May 29, 2005 [2] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 2133.
Description
βThe flag of the Taman rural settlement is a rectangular cloth with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, divided into four equal parts: white (at the top of the pole), yellow (at the top of the free edge), blue (at the bottom of the pole) and red; in the white part there is an image of a raspberry of an ancient princely hat (similar to the caps of Russian tsars) with yellow contours and patterns, with multi-colored jewelry in the form of gems and with a black edge; "there is a green border around the perimeter of the panel (1/9 of the width of the panel) with twenty-one yellow six-pointed stars."
Justification of Symbols
The flag was created taking into account the coat of arms , which is based on the historical coat of arms of the military city of Taman, which reflects the historical and natural features of Taman in the language of symbols and allegories.
The image on the flag of the princely crown symbolizes the antiquity of Taman land, on the territory of which the Tmutarakan principality was located in the X-XII centuries. The stars in the border of the flag reflect the villages located in the Taman District in the middle of the XIX century, at the time of the creation of the coat of arms.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of stability, wealth, respect, intelligence.
White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and mutual understanding.
Red color is a symbol of courage, strength, labor and beauty.
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of honor, nobility, spirituality.
Green color is a symbol of nature, health, life growth.
Raspberry color ( purple ) - a symbol of dignity, fame, honor and greatness.
Black color is a symbol of modesty, wisdom, eternity of being.
