Shuguli

Shuguli is a kind of quarrel between Khevsur men, ending in a duel. The reason usually served as an occasional quarrel or desire to prove their superiority. Also, shuguli can be considered as one of the specific means of military-physical preparation.

During shuguli, edged weapons were usually used, and opponents tried to show their art of owning it, inflicting only light bleeding wounds. Serious wounds and injuries lead to blood feud . Shuguli occurs between one-year-olds, people no older than 50 years. It is not carried out during the gathering of people in case of death and until the day of the funeral.
