White Denim is an American indie rock trio formed in Austin , Texas in 2005 . James Petrally (vocals, guitar) and Joshua Block (drums) were previously members of the noise rock band Parque Touch, Steve Terebecci (vocals, bass) played Peach Train [1] .

The group performs a noisy garage rock (saturated with elements of funk , dub -, blues - and folk influences), the characteristic features of which are (according to Allmusic ) "crushing riffs and furious energy" [2] .
Mark Riley ( BBC 6 Music ) defined the band's style as Jimi Hendrix Experience + Led Zeppelin + Parliament . He suggested (in July 2009) that White Denim “today is probably the best band in the world” [3] .
The second album of the Fits group was highly rated by rock reviewers (79/100 on the summary scale www.metacritic.com) [4] .
