High-speed road - a road for high-speed movement of cars, accessible for entry only through interchanges and on which stopping or parking on the carriageway is prohibited.

Highways include automobile roads:
- having a multi-lane carriageway with a central dividing strip throughout;
- not intersecting on the same level as roads, railways, trams, bicycles and footpaths;
- access to which is possible through intersections at different levels and adjoining at the same level (without crossing direct flows), arranged no more than 3 km from each other.
