Grabovsky (island)

Grabowski Island ( Polish: Ostrów Grabowski ) is a small island on the Odra River within the city of Szczecin ( Poland ). The area of ​​the island is 175 hectares.

In 2006, a logistics center (30 ha) and a container terminal (15 ha) were created on the island as part of the SPOT program.

There are wastewater treatment facilities on the island. The sewer system has a length of more than 14 km and treats the sewage of the port and the urban area of ​​Międzyodrza. There is a facility for the removal of hydrated liquid waste from ships, including oil waste.
