Club career

The first match for Porto was played against the team where he was raised, against Boavista. Career at Porto was very positive - Ricardo won the UEFA Cup, the Champions League, and the Intercontinental Cup.

In the summer of 2007 he moved from Porto to Wolfsburg for 4 million euros. The first time on the field for Wolfsburg went on August 5, 2007 in a friendly match against the Wurzburger club.
