Club career
The first match for Porto was played against the team where he was raised, against Boavista. Career at Porto was very positive - Ricardo won the UEFA Cup, the Champions League, and the Intercontinental Cup.
In the summer of 2007 he moved from Porto to Wolfsburg for 4 million euros. The first time on the field for Wolfsburg went on August 5, 2007 in a friendly match against the Wurzburger club. That match ended 4-0 in favor of the Ricardo team. Ricardo himself spent only the first half on the field. He made his debut in the Bundesliga on November 11, 2007 in a match against Bayer Leverkusen . That match, “Wolfsburg” lost with a score of 1: 2.
January 29, 2010 Costa moved to the French " Lille " [2] . On May 17, 2010, the player was announced to be transferred as a free agent to the Spanish club Valencia . July 29, 2014 became a player in the Qatari club Al-Sailiya .
