Biography
Garcia was born on June 1, 1973 in Sydney , from the age of 6 he began to dance [1] , studied at the prestigious Captain Dance Studios ( English Capital Dance Studios ) [2] . He also studied at the University of Sydney with a degree in chemical biology, but after a year of study left him to participate in the Australian tour of the West End musical “Shuffling in Hot Shoes” (1992-1993) [2] [3 ] ] . In 1994, he plays in this musical at the Queen's Theater in London and continued his career in theaters in the British capital, including the musicals Grease and Birdy . [3] . Garcia achieved great success and recognition when he played the role of Tony Manero in the musical Saturday Night Fever staged at the London Palladium Theater in London, a performance that lasted on stage. about a year. For this role, he was nominated for the Olivier Award as Best Musical Actor [4] .
Garcia starred in such films as Wilde , Heels , The Ugly Coyote Bar , Charm , How to Make 20 Million Bucks .
