Nina Maksimovna Raspopova ( December 31, 1913 - July 2, 2009 ) - is the commander of the 46th Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 325th Night Bomber Aviation Division of the 4th Air Army of the 2nd Belorussian Front , the Guard Senior Lieutenant . Hero of the Soviet Union ( 1946 ) [1] .

Biography
Nina Raspopova was born on December 31, 1913 in the village of Magdagachi, Primorsky Region, which is part of the Amur Governor General (now the district center of the Magdagachinsky District of the Amur Region ) in the family of a simple Russian worker. Russian .

She graduated from the Mining School, flight school in Khabarovsk [2] [3] and courses for improving command staff at the Central Aero Club in Moscow . She worked as a geologist , flight instructor in flying clubs in the cities of Omsk and Mytishchi, Moscow Region.
In the Red Army since October 1941 . On the fronts of World War II from May 1942 . Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1942 .
The commander of the 46th guards night bomber regiment (325th night bomber air division, 4th air army, 2nd Belorussian front) guards senior lieutenant Raspopova completed 805 sorties by the end of the war, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy in manpower and combat technique.
After the war, the brave pilot was in reserve and then retired. She worked as executive secretary of the Mytishchi district branch of the Knowledge society. She conducted an active social activity. She lived in the city of Mytishchi .
Nina Maksimovna Raspopova died on July 2, 2009 at the 96th year of her life. She was buried at the Volkovsky cemetery in Mytishchi .
On September 9, 2010, a memorial complex dedicated to Nina Raspopova was opened on Veterans Boulevard in Mytishchi.
Awards and titles
- By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, for the exemplary performance of command missions and courage and heroism in battles with the Nazi invaders of the guard, the senior lieutenant Raspopova Nina Maksimovna was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star Medal ( No. 9011).
