Sigurana ( rum. Siguranţă - security) - secret police in the Kingdom of Romania , which existed from 1921 to 1944 . The main goal of the Sigurani was to fight against the opposition authorities, parties and organizations.

During World War II , Siguran members were sent to Bukovina , to Bessarabia and Transnistria to fight the partisan movement. It ceased to exist after the entry of Soviet troops on the territory of Romania in 1944. The directors of Siguranz were:
- Mikhail Moruzov (1887-1940) in 1924-1940
- Eugen Christescu (1895-1950) in 1940-1944
According to incomplete data, she has arrested more than 75,000 people during her lifetime. [1]
After the proclamation of the Romanian People’s Republic, the duties of the Sigüran were assigned to the Department of State Security (“ Securitate ”).
