History
Frunzensky district of the city of Ivanovo was formed in 1936 . Named in honor of MV Frunze .
Geography
The district is located in the central and western parts of the city. It is separated from the Oktyabrsky district by the River Uvod . The border with the Leninsky district passes through the streets: Lenin Avenue , Pharmacy Lane , Smirnova Street , Lezhnevskaya Street . On the territory of the district there is a town planning monument - First Working Village .
Economy
A number of large enterprises are located in the district: JSC RIAT (former car repair factory), Ivanovsky Brewery and Non-Alcoholic Plant (later Ivanovo Brewing Company CJSC, currently included in SAN InBev), KIP (formerly artificial artificial plant), Bread Factory No. 4 and many others.
Social Sector
The district has a wide network of social and cultural institutions: schools, preschool and medical institutions. Many catering, trade, consumer services.
