The palace and park complex the Manor of the Streshnev Znamenskoye-Rayok, XVIII century, 1743-1787
The architect N.A. Lvov , as well as K. Buci, A. Trofimov, Englishman V. Irven, Italian F. Ruska worked on the design and construction of the estate.
The architectural ensemble of the estate includes the manor house and a circular colonnade connecting it with the side wings (carriage and greenhouse) and standing in front of the front gate. Most of the pavilions and arbors of the manor park have been lost. The cascade of ponds consists of preserved upper ward and middle ward ponds.
The heart of the estate is the Church of the Sign of the Mother of God of 1766, built by the father of F.I. Glebov, also general-general, Ivan Fedorovich Glebov . Before the revolution of 1917, the church contained the family icons of the Glebovs : Nicholas of Myra, the Miracle Worker and the Sign of the Mother of God, as well as several icons by Borovikovsky . At the moment, the temple is open to the public and needs restoration work.
The current state of the estate complex
Since 2018, the operational management of the object of cultural heritage has been carried out by the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture “Agency for the Management and Use of Monuments of History and Culture”.
In modern times, the estate has introduced a guard regime with free access for tourists to visit the park with a cascade of ponds and the Church of the Sign of the Blessed Virgin from 10 to 19 hours. The manor receives a second life: the manor park, the cascade of ponds, the adjacent territory and structures were cleaned. Tourists visiting the complex is limited due to the preparatory regime for the conservation of the monument due to the existing emergency facilities.
The inhabitants of the estate
On the territory of the complex in the administrative building is a subsidiary of the Oil Company ACADEMA - the non-governmental organization Academy of Venture Philanthropy (Moscow).
Currently, a potential investor in the estate is developing a concept for adapting a cultural heritage object for modern use. The territory will house a wellness center and a private educational center for continuing education of adolescents and adults.
The project involves the creation of a multifunctional cultural and educational space, taking into account the historical mission of the complex on the basis of educational tourism with an innovative component.
