The Rechitsa Territory belonged to the Dnieper Volosts of the Vilno County. The Rechitsa “viceroy” in 1481 took Iwach, giving the king eight shipbuilders for it. By the time of the publication of the first Statute , the Rechitsa ruler was already called both the governor and the sovereign . So in one act of 1523, pan Semyon Polozovich was named governor , but in a privilege issued in 1527 to Prince Ivan Mikhailovich to hold Rechitsky’s castle on the belly of Pan Semyon Polovich (the sovereign from 1522 to 1532), the latter was already named sovereign Rechitsky.
