Story

The short story “Father-in-law arrived” by writer Yuri Pakhomov appeared as the literary source.

Alexei Borisovich, a 75-year-old stepfather, comes to Moscow to visit his daughter from the south. But the daughter went on a business trip. The father-in-law meets a son-in-law who has taken leave to work on a dissertation.
Two representatives of different generations and views on life spend several days together. Aleksey Borisovich, a former surgeon surgeon, while waiting for his daughter, spends time talking with his son-in-law Vladimir, periodically meeting with old friends and walking around Moscow, in which he spent his pre-war youth.
