Biography
MI Tenenbaum was born in 1906 in Odessa . From 1921 he worked in local enterprises. In 1929 he graduated from the shipbuilding technical school in the city of Nikolaev , entered the Moscow Mining Academy , after its division into six universities he graduated in 1932 from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys and was sent to work at the metallurgical plant in Mariupol .
In 1934, M. I. Tenenbaum moved to Lipetsk . He worked at the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant as the head of the blast furnace shop.
In 1940 he was elected first secretary of the Lipetsk city committee of the CPSU (b) . During the Great Patriotic War, he was appointed Chairman of the State Defense Committee for the city of Lipetsk . After the war he was the party organizer of the Lipetsk Tractor Plant . After 1950 he worked at metallurgical enterprises in the Tula region .
In February 1986, for his great organizational work in the mobilization of the city’s workers during the Great Patriotic War and his contribution to the development of the city of Lipetsk, M.I. Tenenbaum was awarded the title “Freeman of the City of Lipetsk”.
