Description
"A rectangular panel with a 2: 3 aspect ratio, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Yeisk strengthened rural settlement in green, raspberry, yellow and red colors."
The flag is a rectangular cloth with an aspect ratio of 2: 3, divided by a yellow fortification, about one full and two half-visible bastions on the green (above) and raspberry parts. On top of the fortification are two yellow spears in a cross: one with the icon of two pigtails with tassels, which depicts a red foot-shaped cross, the other with a large brush at the tip.
Justification of Symbols
The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical foundation of the Yeisk Fortification - which gave the name to the village, and now the entire territory of the rural settlement.
The Yeisk Fortification was built by the Russian army as a stronghold in the fight against the Ottoman Empire , at the mouth of the Bolshaya Eya River , in July 1774, after the conclusion of the Kuchuk-Kaynardzhik peace as an outpost of the Russian border, "the document brought from the Central Archive says.
In 1778, A.V.Suvorov arrived in Yeisk fortified town, being the commander of the Kuban corps.
On the 20th of October 1792, a detachment of Black Sea Cossacks, led by Ataman Chepegi , consisting of three regiments of cavalry, two regiments of infantry and a large convoy with families, approached the Azov gates of the Yeisk fortification along the old Azov-Taman tract.
Yellow fortification - symbolizes the fortification built by the Russian army.
Yellow bunchuk and a smoking icon symbolize immigrants who came to the Kuban lands - Zaporizhzhya Cossacks. Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of harvest, wealth, respect, intelligence, stability.
White color ( silver ) is a symbol of peace, purity, simplicity, perfection, mutual understanding.
The green color symbolizes the rich nature of the rural settlement, its developed agriculture.
Raspberry color ( purple ) - a symbol of dignity, fame, honor.
