Content
Story
The action takes place in the 1970s. The police chief decides to make two non-pro-police cops as partners.
Detective David Starsky is the most experienced undercover agent on the streets of Bay City in California. He is manicly devoted to his work, and not a single crime will go unpunished while he is on duty, and he never stops it. The cause of such zeal is the heredity and complex of the mother. The fact is that his parent was a legend of the city police.
The son has to go out of his way to prove that you can become a super-policeman, working differently from her. And one of the recipes for her success was a constant partner. And now David is changing partners like gloves. Detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson has his own views on the image of an ideal guardian. He grasps everything on the fly, quick-witted and takes lightning decisions, but often such a rush leads to the failure of operations.
The worried local police chief, Captain Dobie, finally makes a Solomon decision: to unite the two best, but not good-natured police officers on a team and let them out to patrol the city. From the first day of the joint service, they manage to go on the trail of a major drug sale operation. Everything indicates a wealthy businessman, Rhys Feldman, but so far it has not been possible to bring forward a charge.
