It is located in the central part of the region 10 km east of Yartsev , 3 km south of the Belarus highway M1 . 0.1 km south of the village is the Svishchevo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
