It is located in the central part of the region 11 km west of Yartsev , 2 km north of the Belarus highway M1 , on the banks of the Pesochnya river. At 7 km southeast of the village is the railway station Priselskaya on the line Moscow - Minsk .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
