Chistaya is a village in the Yartsevo district of the Smolensk region of Russia . It is part of the Mikheykovsky rural settlement. Population - 90 inhabitants ( 2007 ).

It is located in the central part of the region 4 km north of Yartsev , 5 km north of the Belarus highway M1 . 7 km south-west of the village is the Yartsevo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
