Gurevich, Leonid Abramovich

Leonid Abramovich Gurevich ( March 27, 1932 - February 16, 2001 , New York ) - Russian screenwriter , film non-fiction playwright , director , film critic , film critic . Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2000) [1] .

Biography

He graduated from school with a gold medal and graduated from the chemical department of the Voronezh State University ( Voronezh State University ) (1956), worked as an engineer in Saratov . Three times he was denied admission to VGIK [2] . He worked in documentary film and television. There was an editor of the Experimental Association of Mosfilm Studios.

He has written over eighty non-game films. He taught at the Higher Scenary Courses of the USSR State Committee for Cinematography and VGIK . Member of the Board of the Moscow Union of Cinematographers.

Wife - actress and journalist Sima Berezanskaya , TV presenter lives in New York.

He died at JFK airport ( John F. Kennedy Airport ) in New York.
