It is located in the northern part of the region 19 km east of Kholm-Zhirkovsky , 37 km north of the M1 Belarus highway. 36 km west of the village is the Kanyutino railway station on the Durovo - Vladimirsky Tupik line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
