Located in the northern part of the region, 5 km north-west of Kholm-Zhirkovsky , 40 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the banks of the Lemna River. 9 km west of the village there is the Kanyutino railway station on the Durovo - Vladimirsky Dead End line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
