It is located in the northern part of the region, 12 km north-east of Kholm-Zhirkovsky , 50 km north of the Belarus highway M1 . 18 km to the west of the village is the Nikitinka railway station on the Durovo - Vladimirsky Tupik line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
