Located in the northern part of the region, 10 km south-east of Kholm-Zhirkovsky , 26 km north of the Belarus highway M1 , on the bank of the Dnieper River . 17 km north-west of the village there is a railway station Igorevskaya on the line Durovo - Vladimirsky Deadlock .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
