Located in the northern part of the region, 5 km south-east of Kholm-Zhirkovsky , 34 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the bank of the Dnieper River . 16 km south-west of the village, there is a railway station Igorevskaya on the line Durovo - Vladimirsky Deadlock .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
