It is located in the northern part of the region, 3 km south of Kholm-Zhirkovsky , 32 km north of the Belarus highway M1 , on the banks of the Sol River. 11 km south-west of the village is the Igorevskaya railway station on the Durovo - Vladimirsky Tupik line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
