Located in the southwestern part of the region, 10 km north-west of Khislavichi , 42 km west of the A141 Oryol - Vitebsk highway, on the banks of the Melehovka River. 42 km east of the village is located the Stodolische railway station on the Smolensk - Roslavl line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
From 1929 to 1954 in Lobanovka there was a directorate of its own Lobanovsky village council of the Hislavichsky district. From 1954 to 1965 she was a member of the Upinsky Village Council of the Hislavichsky District. In 1965, Lobanovskiy village council was restored and existed until the 2000s, when it was included in the Korzovskoye rural settlement [2] .
