Geography
It is located in the eastern part of the region 4 km southeast of Temkin , 26 km northeast of the P132 Vyazma - Kaluga - Tula - Ryazan highway . 5 km north-west of the village is the Temkino railway station on the Vyazma - Kaluga line .
In addition to the railway, the Bulgakovo - Savostyanovo highway passes through the village. The village of Savostyanovo is located half a kilometer south-west of the Budka Railway 57 km. 1.5 km northwest is the source of the Uyki River, 2 km east - the tract Great Vodyanka.
History
The settlement was formed as a substation village.
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in early March 1943 [4] .
